LEGALWORKS advising ROCK IN RIO LISBOA 2016

Thirty years on from its first concert in Brazil, Rock in Rio is the world's largest music and entertainment event.

Over three decades, Rock in Rio has organised 16 events, six in Portugal (2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014), six in Brazil (1985, 1991, 2001, 2011, 2013 and 2015), three in Spain (2008, 2010 and 2012) and one in the United States (2015). Overall, the four host cities (Rio de Janeiro, Lisbon, Madrid and Las Vegas) have welcomed more than 8.2 million rock fans to 1,498 concerts, over a total of 96 days of partying and 1,200 hours of music.

The 7th Rock in Rio Lisboa, due to take place on 19, 20, 27, 28 and 29 May 2016, celebrates the Event's 30th anniversary, on and off the festival site.

On 20 May, the second day of the Lisbon Event, Queen are set to return to the City of Rock with Adam Lambert, to evoke the magical night of the first event in 1985, in Rio de Janeiro. Lisbon will pulsate with the band's hits at another concert to remember.
